| HERALD MINISTRIES EDITORIAL PAGES FROM THE DESK OF THE FOUNDER AND EDITOR OF HERALD MINISTRIES : 9/8/2005 It is difficult to believe that the Herald Ministries web site has been in existence for a year and a half. We feel that we have accomplished a great deal in that period of time. We now have over 30 articles on the web site, but most importantly, they can now be read in seven languages as of 7-07-05. Over 15,000 pages of articles have been pulled off the web site. Another milestone is that since our beginning, we now have live sermons that can be listened to on one’s computer. And not only that, but we have sent out over 500 cassette tapes of the sermons we offer to countries all around the world. To make this more exciting is that all of this has been done through the efforts of only ten people. We read in Revelation 3:7 about the Church of God in Philadelphia. To this church Jesus wrote in verse seven “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; these things saith He that is holy, He that is true, He that hath the key of David, He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth; and no man openeth. V. 8- I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast little strength, and hath kept my word, and hath not denied my name.” We are walking through that open door on faith, trying to preach the Word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, not according to man’s interpretation of God’s Word, but as Peter stated in 2 Peter 1:20 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” So for this reason, we preach from the Word of God and not commentaries, dictionaries, and/or any denominations interpretation. From time to time we get letters and emails that are not in agreement with our articles or sermons. Everyone has the right to disagree, however, we feel the disagreement should be backed up with scripture, the Word of God, and not man’s opinion, or the doctrines of any denomination. Remember, Jesus said ‘beware of the doctrines of the Pharisees and Sadducees. He accused them of establishing doctrine on their tradition and not on the commandments (or the Word) of God. We do however, appreciate all comments and letters as it shows us that people are visiting our web site and are listening or reading from its messages. Perhaps, one should adopt a motto similar to the one Jesus gave His apostles to take His message to all nations all over the world, and with satellite television and the worldwide netword of computers, even though we are small, we can help fulfill this commission. We hope that you will continue to look in on us daily, because we are hard at work trying to keep the web page up to date. So continue to look for new articles, now in 7 languages, and more audio cassette sermon tapes that can be heard on your computer. May
God bless you and continue to open your minds to His precious
truth!
